Just in case the world ends sometime soon, the geek in some of you might want a copy of the 60s and 80s Stewart Brand “whole earth catalogs.” Even though the catalogs are references to buying anything not online, which is hardly the case nowadays, it is still good to reflect on the tools that have powered the Earth and humanity. Plus, it is cool. There are still a few of those books around the web. The content has lots of humor, too. Note that the editor, Stewart Brand, and his books strongly inspired cyberculture technology movements in the late 60s and 70s.
