Who am I?

I am Lebanese American, born in Beirut and currently living in Dallas metroplex since 2001. I received my Bachelors of Science from the American University of Beirut, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dallas, and PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University. I am currently Director of Technology at Thomson Reuters. I lead in both software development and data science. My primary interests, both at work and in research, is in artificial intelligence, mainly machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. I also mentor new and restarters in the fields of computers and technology, and it mainly includes interns and students. I believe that everyone, old or young, should learn computer coding regardless of their day to day activity. Coding is not only a science but it is also an art that will lives around us and in every digital thing we do or use. Knowing how to code in today’s digital world would yield even more powerful human intelligence for oneself and for others around us.
